PROBLEM STATEMENT
How might we redesign the office website to improve mobile accessibility, speed, and SEO so that new patient numbers increase and search rankings recover?
CHALLENGE
User research was conducted on both existing patients and the staff to evaluate issues with the existing site. A few key ideas stood out from the interviews:
-
A personal touch was lacking (the old site felt "clinical" and unfriendly)
-
The colors were displeasing (the yellow aesthetic didn't match idea of clean white teeth)
-
The website was not accessible (text was difficult to read on mobile devices)
-
Too much text (difficult to find important info)
Old Site

SOLUTION
I redesigned the site with an emphasis on the mobile experience, as analytics showed that was now where a majority of our visitors were coming from.
Highlights from changes of both mobile on desktop are below.

CONCLUSION
The Cerulean Dental Spa website redesign made it easier for patients to connect with the practice while giving the site a fresh, welcoming look. By improving mobile access, simplifying new patient registration, and creating a more intuitive and approachable user experience, we saw a noticeable boost in online engagement and new patient sign-ups.
The updated design helped reinforce the dentist office's brand identity and communicate its commitment to comfort and quality care. This project demonstrates how thoughtful, user-centered design can make a significant impact for both users and the business, improving satisfaction, efficiency, and overall results.
